The truth is that most of these "Wealthy" entertainers, got to the point they're at.... by signing massive deals with entities far larger than themselves( i.e. Jay with LiveNation) and are owned by somebody.
very few of them, actually own anything.... they're either under contract to somebody, endorsing something, or apart of something.
what Chris Rock was getting at, is that black people will never truly be in positions of wealth... because they don't really own anything.
