Rented this shot online and it came out on Max two weeks later….was very entertaining for me. Didn’t realize it related to Barbarian but I kinda see the same hints of goofiness in both.

Just wait till you her as MadonnaKnew nothing about this movie going in, literally just hit play on HBO Max. Now seeing its part of the barbarian universe makes the goofy break in tone make sense. I liked it better than barbarian, but it left me feeling sad knowing that most them kids and Alex’s parents’ minds are are flayed
Ozark chick still has the juice
Man, pls, I fell asleep like 2 times watching that long legs garbage. Weapons was entertaining from beginning to end6/10. This is another of Longlegs, in that both are overhyped & relied on marketting to push false hype. The cinematogtaphy was great but that's about the only positives I can give. The movie didn't know if it wanted to be horror - thriller, sci-fi, supernatural & by the time it decides, its execution is poor. Aside from motivation - need to feed to survive - absolutely fukk all about the villain made sense. Are they real relations, what made them return now, was she going to leave the kids, how does her spell break work, claimed the father suffered a stroke but what about the mom, how did the families reconcile the kids murder. I love horrors and this did fukk all for me as we know they why not the how. Edit - Longlegs > Weapons.
Wait this shyt was on Max? I literally pirated it yesterday not knowingYour Friday night movie
