absolutely especially if you have a quality vaporizer. You can certainly taste the difference.
I be so pissed off lately because the everybody likes sweet strains these days like wedding cakes, runtz, cookies and piney OGs.

I prefer bud to have skunky, and diesely flavor and am so happy when I come by well grown cuts of certain strains like Sour Diesels, Headbands etc.

sure, theres parent strains that have a distinct smell

skunk
cheese (nothing smells like this, even hyrbrids)
OG
Grandaddy Purp
Northern Lights (a hybrid, very distinct)
Haze

all have certain qualities to them, it can get complicated with all these hybrids but i usually know the dad strain when i smell

Humboldt got those big ass nugs that smell like pine and just health the high is more feels very loving like grandma's hugs (some of them been growing in the same soil for 60 years)

So cal got the gas... literally it has this spicy gas like taste and the high is crippling

Seattle weed is my favorite tho you can just feel a heroin addict grew that shyt
