Sorry, sober is the best feeling.

Weed high is annoying. Doesn't matter if it's a pleasurable high or an anxiety induced high. After ten minutes, I be over it but have to wait a whole 7-8 hours for a comedown to resume my day. And I can't ever get shyt done. That's even after having smoked sativa.

The only thing it does for me is enhances sex. Outside of that, miss me with this shyt. Can't understand how some of you brehs do this every day.
Cause people respond differently. Peoples tolerances are different. My wife doesn’t like the way it makes her feel, but she likes being tipsy with wine. I don’t like the way pills (legal kind) :whoa: make me feel, so I hardly take pain meds. Had surgery yesterday and I’m only taking ibuprofen.

Could also be my tolerance level has increased. I’ve smoked off and on since 1996. When I was young, I couldn’t focus and read, but now it’s easy. It’s not for everyone.

Haven't smoked weed since 2008 but I think I might get my medical card so I can start getting edibles for my anxiety

I really used to abuse weed for my anger issues but meditation and exercise done quelled that shyt.

I think the best way to enjoy weed is to simply smoke in the evening. Easier said than done as that wake and bake shyt is fun but you're just gonna be less productive than when you're sober especially if done every day.:yeshrug:

I'm an everyday smoker but this thread just motivated me to really discipline myself to NOT smoke 2x each day. The trap with weed is that it don't got no severe adverse side effects like literally every other recreational drug. The worst it does is put you to sleep or make you crave junk (however it amplifies the taste of food 3x). So your mind tells you it's ok to smoke again and again.

At the end of the day It's all about discipline/ self-control, used to be a heavy drinker but cut that shyt to like 1x a month if that for the last few years. The last thing I need to conquer is the weed.:ehh:

Yep. Drinking, smoking and working long stressful hours with a horrible diet is how my GI described it.
damn have you looked into ways to remedy that? smaller meals for a few week, leafy green smoothies (spinach, kale) to reduce the ph of your stomach for a few weeks to allow your body to repair itself. like is it permananet damage to the flap in your stomach and throat?

yeah, if you aren't doing proper maintenance of your body (balanced nutrition) you will develop acid reflux from the smoke paralyzing the flap keeping your stomach and throat closed. you'll have to take a break for months at a time for your body to repair. moderation is key with everything. if you're smoking, use a filter to block the tar. same with vaping, keep the temps below 200 Celsius, use a cooling rig to filter the tar and lower the temp of the inhaled vapour. your lungs and throat will thank you.

ask your doctor. also with the pandemic a lot of people stopped eating as much causing their stomach to shrink. eating too much too fast will also cause acid reflux, you have to gradualy increase your meal sizes over the same amount of times like 18 months.

Life passes me by when I’m high all day everyday. The older and more mature version of my self uses weed as a tool to fall asleep at night but I try not to smoke during the day anymore.

Im self employed and I smoke all day.
For me spliffs>blunts
Spliffs I’m not stuck on the couch or even get munchies

I only browse thecoli/sm when smoking or rolling up
After I’m done I do what I got to do. If you have shytty motivation when high you still gonna have shytty motivation when sober.

Don’t blame the weed

Yeah, I got it under control some years ago. Had to change my lifestyle as you mentioned. Small meals, no late meals. The acid over time wears down the linings of your esophagus and the flap. It also can lead to ulcers.
