I think the biggest misconception from people that buy weed is that dealers are "hurting" for sales or that dealers are DYING for money. If you don't buy, SOMEONE else will....or that person's friend will call...or that person's friend and friends of that person's friend will call... 
Weed sells itself and they DO have lives too.
Gas is high nowadays. Perhaps, the trip for your petty sale isn't worth it depending on what they're doing or where they are at the time. You may call someone else, but trust...if their shyt is good enough, you'll call again.
Your best bet is what someone else was saying: buy larger quantities if you want to make yourself a priority. Your weedman's probably looks at the phone while laid up with a bad chick w/ a the :bert: face when you call like..."This ol' nick & dime-ass nikka..."

OP you say you're a broke college student but you should consider stop smoking for a month and save up the money and just buy it in a large quantity. If you have a homeboy that smokes, go half with him. If you're not some dirty little weed head, it will last you a lot longer and you still can use any money in between to cop other strands/exotic/loud or whatever the hell they are nick naming it now a days.
