Firing him tonight wouldn't be a terrible idea but I'd imagine they'll let it play through. This is the end though, it's effectively over. That schedule is brutal and they needed to win all the games they should win (like this one) plus sneak in an upset or two.

Low key, that erased INT for RtP + the taunting penalty completely changed the game. I really think if that is a no-call Nebraska wins and might win quite easily.
They owe him the prorated amount of his salary for the rest of the year if they fire him now. They don't have the pockets to do that AND pay him the rest of his contract (15M). That's nearly 20M.
They're going to let this NCAA investigation play out and try to fire him for cause.
