I'm not so sure. Yea its rotten when Shannahan didn't want him. However, RG3 unwillingness to do read option plays his 2nd year did him no favors. Even with his struggles he still put up decent #s that 2nd year.

He wasn't Gruden's guy so he needed to adjust in a hurry, but it was still a good offense. If he just could stay healthy and get rid of the ball quickly

Just saying guys like Vince Young never got the benefit that RG3 got.

Agree to disagree. I thought that first, but as time went on I think it was the wrong move.

He just had to survive another season or two doing it until he got truly comfortable in the pocket and progressed.

Him being a pocket passer (when he wasn't ready yet) is what led to his demise. He got happy feet. He needed the threat of the run to open those throwing windows for him.

Its just too bad he couldn't protect himself when he was scrambling.
