I can't even fathom having a $10,000 much less two.
What do want to do in that weekend fun car that you don't get out of your daily driver?

My daily driver is a 2015 Kia forte which my gf also uses. I'm not trying to tear it up. I want something to drive wrecklessly with my sons.

Get a early 90s sports car, that's what I would do. Something like....

S13 Nissan 240sx

An early 2000s Subaru Impreza WRX.
Of course, it's probably going to have high miles and need an engine rebuild, transmission rebuild, clutch replacement, turbo replacement, new brakes, new struts. But once you fix those things, it will be a fast and fun car.
Cheaper project car would be a Honda Civic or Acura Integra or RSX.

MUSTANGS AND THUNDERBIRDS ARE CHEAP AND EASY TO UPGRADE. WHEN THAT COYOTE DROPS IN PRICE I'M DROPPING ONE IN A THUNDERBIRD AND DOING HOODRAT THINGS WITH MY FRIENDS.
