You make a good point but I think people can do both. You can educate yourself and work on your craft and still make time to have a healthy social life. Nothing wrong with going to the club...just get up early the next day and study / work on your craft!

You can work on your craft and develop an income vehicle so you can buy Time in the future.

This also depends on the level of autonomy and net worth you want.
