I'm retired now so everyday is a weekend. I spend time with my grandchildren and other family members. When I was working my weekends were also fun so I just can't relate to this. lol.

You make a good point but I think people can do both. You can educate yourself and work on your craft and still make time to have a healthy social life. Nothing wrong with going to the club...just get up early the next day and study / work on your craft!

You can work on your craft and develop an income vehicle so you can buy Time in the future.

This also depends on the level of autonomy and net worth you want.
