On some real talk shyt, it's fukked up if Baby doesn't let Wayne off the label. Dude literally saved CM after everybody left and if Wayne would've went with Jay, CM would've been gone by now. Wayne also brought him two Superstars in Drake and Nicki and had them at the top of the rap game. This is some shyt you get killed for in the streets.

If he signed a contract ...then she signed a contract. Everyone can't just up and leave when they want to. They won't make any money. What there doing is protecting their interest. If you ran a label you would do the same.

I'm not even in the music business and even I know that if I want to insure my "investment" in the artist there needs to be some type of lasting contract, especially with a fluctuating business like the music business.

Look, I don't know what went on behind the scenes with this so I can't fully say. But if Wayne signed a contract that stated he had X amount of album's this many years and so forth and he fully knew what he was getting himself into, How is it baby/slim or the label's fault?

I wish him the best and hopeful they figured out something ( as a creative I understand where wayne is coming from)but how are these people monsters if they gave him conditions and he agreed?

I have no idea what's in the contract, But considering that he stayed for such a long time makes me think there is not much he can do to get out of it.

He could file for bankruptcy or negotiate new terms but (I think with those you have to complete one more album).
I'm sure there are other ways but i'm sure there are other factors that are stoping him from going that route.

Plus all those trips and rides and new shining marketing cost money for the record company and it's all recoupable maybe that why these artist don't see a dime.
