If this is true, he's done.

Nobody is going to pay that amount of cash for him.
The way the culture has grown and blossomed over a period of time... I jus wish the majority of these consumers/fans got hip to how the game really work with all of the real resources (like this site)that are at fingertips. I say this to say... I could imagine myself arguin with nikkas in school a few years ago about how "Wayne good he jus signed a 150 million dollar contract" :mjlol:

The last publicized fallout happened EXACTLY TEN YEARS AGO, the Winter of 04 leading into 05, crazy how things work....

If that Contract talk is true, buddy is in deep water wit the Sharks, he better hope Las Vegas gives him a offer like they did Kanye....

Its crazy, I felt that his situation over there with Cash Money was fugazi the moment he blew out the water in 06... back then you didn't see Wayne without Baby on his side... Wayne has no intuition, no knowledge of self, no knowledge of survival.... A Rapping ass Prostitute, just recently who saw the tour video where Drake gave Wayne the Rolex on his birthday, Wayne wanted to cry as he receive the gift from Drake on stage, he soberly said "Thanks man, nobody's never did nothing like this for me"....

In a way I don't feel bad for the dude, but in a way I feel really bad honestly.... I grew up on listening to this dude since we both were teenagers, at the height of his career it "seemed" nothing could faze him, but all the while it was a fraud/flaw situation all around the board. Almost like a dude who knew he was getting jerked time and time again with every document he signed, but did it anyway because he has never had a real support system in his corner to ride for him, everything in his life was established for him through the same folks who sucked the life out of him....

They caught him early... 11.

He had no chance.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
the Contracts worth is based on the projected ROLL OUT BUDGET for each album the label would FEEL obligated to release

THIER is no CLAUSE stating when they MUST release a project or an artist

THIS IS A COMMON PRACTICE in MUSIC and BOXING

(artist wanna release albums..boxers wanna fight) :manny:

keep in mind like most recording contracts those millions are RECOUPABLE (U gotta pay that back)

u figure in marketing.
.promotion..recording costs and the advances for each LP... u figure just under 35 mill for each of the 4 LOs

keep in mind a lot of these LABELS INFLATE THE NUMBERS I.e (expenses) they CLAIM they will PAY OUT as an attempt to keep u in DEBT

This is why MICHAEL JACKSON AND HIS FAMILY insist that SONY open up those BOOKS so they can really see what SONY claim they were spending

and the only way to do that is with a GOOD LAWYER who is willing to LITIGATE as opposed to ARBITRATE like Weezys lawyer Ron Sweeney was doing cause he was nothing more than a CASH MONEY lawyer

and CASH MONEY/UNIVERSAL is nothing more than a BANK

these ain't DEALS they giving out THIER BONDS no different than the slave bonds overseers bought back in the day

and u gotta work ur way out of freedom and that's IF massa will allow u to work

Only thing is, you can get it in your contract to have release dates. Plenty artists have them. But you must have leverage

Like if jay or ti or em or someone known for hits had a contract up, they could easily get the clause put in. Cause so many labels would do anything to have them

Wayne not getting one tells me he's not very smart. Watching all your hot boys and producers get fukked and still stay. Watch yourself get fukked and still stay. All while using the same lawyer as the company you're fighting

Brag about being retardedly high all the time brehs

yes....THEY ARE CALLED "TIME RELEASE CLAUSES" ..leverage brings this about and a matter of stressing your demands with a great attorney

if you value SOVERIGNTY (freedom) over CASH ADVANCES then the label will have to consider that during negotiations

for example Wendy Day pointed out TRU LIFE had one during his stint with THE ROC when JAY signed him

if JAY didn't release an LP in the allotted time then JAY had to release him from all obligations

I TRY to work that into the contracts I do for clients as well as myself...Cause TIME IS MONEY!!
