Man, woman, and child
. My moms was and still is cool as hell. She's a teacher so she would be off every summer. So my house was the neighborhood spot cuz she stayed cooking and let us raise hell in the basement. Before we could go outside or have friends over tho we would always have to read for an hour.

Every other Friday we would have to write a book report:martin:

I used to hate it but I appreciate it now. Had me read Malcolm's autobiography in the 4th grade. She was also a pro-black flower child so she would smoke some weed out on the back porch and than take us to art museums and shyt

My mom was the core, she would damn near fight a lion if it threatened the family, I've seen her strong and weak, always respected and always loved.
Fighting this system and raising me yet she still keeps on pushing learning to do the impossible become a better woman than she already is.

:ohlawd::salute:

I know its cliche, but if I find a woman like my mom, and I become a father like my dad... that will be the biggest blessing in my life.

My parents aren't the most...... outwardly loving couple.... but when it comes to real shyt, they make the best team i've ever seen.
Never concerned with the bullshyt, always focused on the biggest picture.

But yeah I've never even seen my parents kiss.:ohhh:

My dad bought my mom flowers for Valentines day ~20 years ago.
She laughed and gave them to my sister.:mjlol:

I would like to be more affectionate/romantic with my wife. That's probably the only thing I would change.

EDIT: My fam

Sidenote: My mom is a good 3-4 inches taller than my dad. He's standing on on a footstool.
My youngest brother is sitting down

I'm th eone with the crooked teeth, pre-braces days. :lolbron:

Yeah sounds kinda familiar, my mother also pushed education heavily she made it very clear at the least I would have an education:wow: I remember when I didn't know some math she would call any and everybody until that ish got figured out (along came a @Audemar during later periods of life lmao) but yeah before all this technology ish when cellphones didn't have cameras :flabbynsick:

if she hadn't been there pushing(even when I didn't want to be pushed) I would probably had been in the streets :wow: everybody need somebody that genuinely cares

@Prynce you reminded me of when my moms would take me skating, I use to be jealous as shyt, she would do this backwards skating and be dancing, I'm looking like (man bull I can do that too) I would turn around and backwards dash right into the wall or either flat out fall and she a come doing the reverse robot down the aisle talking bout some (coordination you can do it) that only made me mad cause I was damn sure trying :russ:

at that point I said F this I can't skate backwards but I bet i'll be the fastest little motherfukker out in this ring:wow: mini flash:mjcry:

Who really gonna be your rider when the Bentley's gone?
Or when they singin' like a choir in a Christmas song?

My mother taught me to stack bread.
Never share your wealth unless its family or she's wearing a ring
Never ever cry in front of your children (she was adamant about this one)
Never complain without first thinking of solutions
Always look out for your siblings
Never be silent in the face of opposition

Be the rock that family needs, be the tower that your wife needs.

I basically have 2 dads when it comes to the mentality :mjlol:

I wish some of ya'll could meet my mom.
You gotta be a special type of woman to raise 5 boys :lawd:

She sounds amazing. You're highly blessed.

This woman was and still is the most amazing person in the world. My mom was a go getta from birth. Nicole Corelle Brady was born 5 months premature and stayed in that hospital until she was about three Months old. From then on my mom excelled in school. Jr. ROTC, ROTC.

She graduated and went on to West Point. For those who don't know, West Point is a Military Academy. Fast forward a bit, she is a now a Marine and met my father in Thailand, became pregnant with me and gave birth in Okinawa, Japan. (Yes I was born in Japan.)

She left the Marines, had three more kids and became a House Nurse until Brain Cancer took her in 2004.

I miss her everyday.I only had her for 14 years and if I could be half the woman she was, I will have accomplished something great.

S/N: The man in the picture above is my Step-dad. The baby in my moms hands is my sister Amanda. He raised me and I love him for being the tough ass nikka he is. These two raised some tough ass kids.

My mom taught me emotional wellness and how to never sacrifice it. We're not close but she's a mofo rider foreal. My mom is extremely protective of us all and I know its why my siblingsand I never fight. Intermediate fam is next to God in our house. We're also genuinely good people especially my sis and bro. I appreciate the way we are so much especially because other people see it and its helped us all in real ways.

Im teaching my daughter the power of femininity, self-love and how it translates to love for others, and the freedom that comes with knowledge and self study.
