There is a difference between being informative/insightful and just being sensationalist. Vice revels in the later.
I feel you, but this is some very bare journalism. It's a lot of recycled ideas being discussed, but above everything else, the documentary seems to be fixated almost exclusively on showing how shook a frail hipster is among people in the hood. He ain't reporting shyt.
Yeah I guess this dude was more shook than usual vice reporters. However, dude was reporting from a warzone with sociopaths, Most would be shook in that area. When he told Reece and Durk that he was on lamron, they laughed and said, good thing you're with us
because he would have been food. This is a bare to bone look at an area that most don't trek into. I'm sure part 2 and 3 will be better.
