Dude is on a 6 year deal. He'll be 27 when his next deal comes up and will be regarded as the best player in the NBA by then when he gets ANOTHER contract. So he's getting paid $145+ mil the next 6 years, and is young enough that he is ALREADY putting the Pelicans on the clock by saying "If we not competing for championships by 2018, 2019...then you best believe I'm leaving".
