I dont know why but, I always remembered this news story I seen years ago. White dude. Minding his business. Got killed in Philly like 2006. He had just moved to town. Random killing that nobody probably remembers. But, he was a 24 year old teacher, that had just graduated from Temple and he was just jogging at 6 in the morning near Center City.............and he got blammed on


He probably spent his whole life in the suburbs, dreaming about growing up & moving to the city

shyt like that ALMOST makes you understand why white people are like "fukk black people." dude had his whole life ahead of him. a recent graduate, wide-eyed with optimism about the possibilities awaiting him in this new city, and he's gunned down by some worthless piece of shyt who wanted a few dollars to score an ounce of kush or a pair of true religion jeans. of course, his friends warned him about moving to philly, cautioning him about the crime rate. when news of his murder reached them, they were met with sadness absent shock, for they knew it was merely a matter of time before their dangerously naive friend ended up food for the ghetto rabble. his parents, formerly liberal and accepting in their worldviews, turned into hardened racists that disavowed their hippie origins and became republicans. what was once a household of understanding became one of indifference -- hostility, even -- to the black community. his siblings, assuming he had any, cut off all ties with their black friends and no longer associated with whites (liberals) that didn't exercise restraint in their dealings with the unwashed negro.

Im confused, isnt 500 about what chicago been averaging the past 10 years or so?? Going down to as low as 400 some years.. When it used to be 700+ a year.. ChIcago is the only big city i know of that crime has dropped a lot over the years but people still act like it was in the 90s and 80s. You dont see people treating LA and new york like it was the 80s and 90s and the other some what big cities like detroit, st louis and oakland still all have high ass crime rates comparable to what they was doin back in the day....yet all we focus on is chicago... I cant understand it at all
