Math be bringing up shyt in a slick way but be tryna beat around the bush too …and it’s like they forget he’s just another media outlet :mjlol:

He be like “nah so when I was a shorty, my mom told me to stay away from the guys on the corner..so let me ask you, just in general, when you be on the corner and you see a nikka pull out a gun, do you think of your old talks with your mom, or did you just pull out the gun on your own and start shooting? ..because it’s different these days, our moms were a different era ”

This is his gift. This is why I initially believed he would "make it" as a media person because he has an easier time getting certain types of people to be honest.

His size plays a role too. It eggs street nikkas to somewhat "prove it" to him. While he doesnt have to poke or pry at all.

It would be like if Suge Knight had a podcast, nikkas would go up there spilling war stories all day.

Yayo was the only one I recall ever calling him out on his bullshyt lmao and even still he was up there spilling it all out there as well. War story after war story.

Spot fukking ON. I noticed this awhile ago. I almost admire his skill in this aspect but its a fukked up thing to do if it can get somebody jammed up. I think Math is successful at it because he gives off a street aura so his questions don't seem as jarring as somebody like Vlad asking. Its almost like you're just kicking it with a homey and chopping it up. Plus nikkas love to boast about their street rep to other street nikkas. Almost like an unspoken competition lol.

Math interviewing a rapper that got charged with robbing a promoter:

Math: Yo son, it seems like we've come a long way as far as the business aspect. But every now and then you encounter shady people. (brief pause) *stares off introspectively*...(puts on serious tone while reflecting) There was 1 time where we get to a battle rap event....the promoter didn't have my fee. Now, we gotta think about the options. Do we just take the L? Go the legal route and sue. Or get on our Brooklyn shyt and go in his pockets you know what I'm saying?......As a new artist, is it difficult staying on top of your business when there's shady people that still try to get over?

Nikka smooth as hell with the police questions lol.

what this is, is conversational skills, putting people at ease, giving some of yourself, (so people feel compelled to give you some too) lead you down a conversational lane, without making it uncomfortable, relating to the person, so they feel we are similar enough to share this, giving them a space where they don't feel judged and most importantly where they feel UNDERSTOOD.

it's a life skill in general, and yeah it's what skilled interrogators do, but it's always what a smooth date sounds like, or a politician, or a businessman, or professional talk show host, to a degree.

Looks like another federal judge granted him bond, and didn't agree with the prosecutors that he was a flight risk, or danger to the community.

Bencivengo granted the prosecution's request to stay Goddard's ruling, but at Thursday's hearing, she said the government had not shown Hatch was a danger to the community. While the judge stated she had concerns about the alleged threats, she said it was not clear whether they were legitimate threats or whether Hatch actually made those statements.

Bencivengo raised Hatch's bond to $100,000 and ordered him to undergo regular drug testing, but otherwise left the release conditions Goddard set in place.
