The average person who goes to a Future concert pays $5 for the performance and $35 to take pics on their phone so they can tell IG that they are there

Jay Z is one of the only commercial rappers with a good stage show...

Nas' show is wack (God MC though :ahh: )

50's show is atrocious.. just a bunch of Nazi saluting hand movements and 80000 people on stage

all these new cats are just plain bad.

TDE is pretty good live. Saw them a year or so ago and they all had a good set.. Schoolboy being the worst, but having the most songs for the crowd.

Rap is the worst genre for live shows period...particularly if the rapper has no real vocal talent like a Face, Pac, Mystikal, X, J, Cube etc does.

If you don't have any sort of standout vocal attributes and just have a regular nikka voice like a Fif or a Nas or the gentleman in the OP...ya live show is about guaranteed to be :doodoo::doodoo:

No but it is about performing, about actually you know, doing your songs, I've seen mc's do their rhymes a little different or use a hype man because you can't hit all your rhymes for an entire show, but this isn't about that. Rapping along/doing back-ups for the cd version of your song is along way from 'not saying all the words' IMO

The same day this thread was made he was in the UK and everything people said he didn't have.... He had. There was a giant screen showing visuals, there was confetti, special guests etc.. But just let everybody :cook:

well its just one song, and cd background vocals are prominent at hip hop shows. also this video showed likely his last song of the set so wouldnt be suprised if fatigue played a small role. everytime i seen him its been a good performance :manny: cherry picking shyt

Jay-Z at the time was a afterthought to the show roster but who I was looking forward to seeing. Hov was like 8th in this lineup but still shined more than anyone there. Its like he knew the future was brighter for him than everybody who preformed. First concert I attended and greatest ever. Kid Capri on the tables mixing scratching blending, lil kim damn near naked on stage in a big ass bed getting nasty as hell , Busta:damn:, mase, foxy brown, the lox, usher, 112 and they all killed the sets. Best night ever for a 13 yr old hip hop head.
