I went to a real nice school and we had 4 security guards still, plus the cops would come by every now and again and pass through. i think post columbine its pretty common anywhere in America. Our security guards were fat and lazy though and wouldn't dare putting their hands on kids. not sure where they got this super-cop wannabe from

I teach in Charlotte and we have a police officer in my middle school at all times.

There's 2 security guards and 3 BMTS (who handle suspensions/discipline)
