The Seahawks are paying that type of money to Lynch because they know he's the focal point of the offense on a team who has been to back to back Super Bowls. If and it's a big if they make it again to the Super Bowl no one will be complaining about how much they paid Lynch.

TBD. May not be a downgrade much at all. Depends how hard he trains and how well he fits in. I think Earl is going to have to shade his way a bit more than he had to with Max...allowing him to free-roam less but we'll see.
