He is top ten to me and he has been for a few years now. He is on there with MJ MAgic Wilt Bron Bird Kareem Shaq Duncan and Oscar on my list. Wth no dis to Elgin Baylor Jerry West or Bill Russell.

Strictly sticking to players I've actually see play (early 90s-present), the only player I can say is/was flat-out a better basketball player is Micheal Jordan.

For all the others it depends what you put your emphasis on (skills, team success, individual success, longevity, level of opposition, teammates, etc.). But I think that no matter the criteria Kobe should be in everyone's Top 5.
