Yes, of course they couldn't have known what WhatsApp was gonna sell for, but IG was and still is very popular. Given FB's valuation, I'm surprised they couldn't see that they were worth more than a Billi.

It reminds me of Victoria's Secret's founder selling for $1M. $1M was life changing money (in the 80s when this happened), but as we know today it was worth much more than that.
