Yeah, ruined my generosity, i donated to someones gofundme,, found out it was fake and had to file a chargeback. ceased all charity after that.begging should be insta banned on here because it's impossible to verify the validity of the claim.
I still remember when somebody was begging on here for money after a botched foot surgery, and they used 4yr old , random pictures from another person's GoFundMe in their coli request.
Wouldn't have donated to this thread regardless, because unemployed 40 year olds are supposed to be broke. Thats how it works. You 40 with no job, of course you homeless.

Find a homeless shelter. Get on Fiverr, Thumbtack, etc and post your skills. You may need to lend a hand where you see someone needing help in the moment and ask if they know of anyone else that could use a hardworking person.
It's hard to show genuine desperation online because people, rightly so, are skeptical. But people you encounter have an opportunity to show their heart and you have an opportunity to step in front of your pride.
