If the same people keep quiet over inflation because Trump is in there then they deserve the sweet chin music.Most of us knew this wasn't gonna happen but people being wilfully stupid...
The idea that Trump being in office was going to lead to prices miraculously dropping was comical; if anything, Trump, with his tariff proposals, is low-key his way of telling the people to be aware that consumer goods prices will be going up with him in office.
Unfortunately, most people in this country are wilfully ignorant and have no general knowledge of what tariffs are, which is why he was able to sell millions of them the idea that “tariffs=good” when, in reality, it's bad for consumers, overall.
Now, the same people complaining about prices, in the next 5-10 years, will be the same ones saying how these current prices were considered affordable/low.
