Next Tegra chip will most likely power the Switch 2.

Meh. I’d rather then slightly improve the current switch so it can consistently hit 1080p docked and 720p in handheld mode. Majority of first party games don’t do the above.

Then save the “big” upgrade for the next gen switch.

exactly...sounds like a lateral “upgrade” imo...like when they made the 2nd version of the switch with just a slightly bigger screen, better battery life and new packaging...I’ll believe the 4K shyt when I actually see it implemented

If it's true, uncompromising 720p in handheld mode I'm fine with that...it keeps the runtime on battery high. I don't need 4k on a handheld.

Because every time that happens the games flop. They did it for one of the new DS systems awhile back and it was a disaster.

My biggest worry is that they announce a Xenoblade Chronicles X port as a Super Switch XLi Pro exclusive, just like Xenoblade 1 on the New 3DS.
