I have no problem with the mid-range fadeaways. One because he's a good shooter and can make them. Two because it keeps the defense honest and will set up his pump fakes which will make getting to the rim even easier. Like when he hit that step back three, he came down shortly after and pump faked from three which got enough of a reaction out of the D that he was able to drive by and dunk on AD and I think Lively. But I do agree just don't make it the main focus of his game and keep attacking the rim.

Is there even a model for maintenance that Shaq could follow? He wasnt exactly built for longevity and he STILL lasted long. Still became an all time great and and likely a top 3-5 dominant force in nba history. Theres a veneer of disappointment that coats Shaq's career discourse.. and when i step back its really insane cause even if people wanted more he gave you all time everything already
