Love this mentality, folks gotta realize if you play defense/protect the rim chances are you might get dunked on, but you're also gonna get stops at the rim. It's all a part of the game, same reason Giannis still contests at the rim even though he's gotten dunked on plenty of times. There are HOFers who have compilations of them getting dunked on, but you move on with the next play.

This. Before the season started, I never would have imagined he'd make this jump this fast, but I've watched all five games, and he has. He's drawing triple teams and still doing this shyt. It seems like we're exaggerating, but if they just used single coverage on him and let him cook, he'd average 40 easy.

There is nothing more valuable than making the other team flat out not try to shoot in the paint.
Put Wemby on the Nuggets or Bucks. They record the same or better.
Put Jokic or Giannis on San Antonio. They not 5 - 0 neither one can do defensively what Wemby does including Giannis.
There really needs to be some stat that gauges failed shot attempts. Victor only going to be getting a few blocks a game going forward because no one wants to shoot the ball when he is around the rim. Got to be a real way to measure that.
