i've been boycotting it for years because its fukkin disgusting...soon as i stepped into the parking lot, i regretted it; smelled like a city dump outside...

the "food" was

not one single thing was decent. the steak had an ok flavor but it was prolly from an mma fighting cow as it was tough as fukk


shyt gave me and my girl a stomach ache

didnt even mention the other diners there; i felt like i was in the cafeteria of a mega trailer park

and we we're thanked for our visit as we were walking out, with a roach crawling on the wall



we used to have barnhills (gas) and shyt like that back in the day, but besides chinese, GC is the only buffet style restaurant in my area...i have no idea how this shyt stays open

My family as a whole made an exceutive decision to never eat there again after 2002. Thats the year my grandma died(rip), and she loved to bring the whole family to golden corral during family get togethers. Ever since then its been cookouts and grilling for those family events.

Covid really put the final nail into buffets. The only ones that I check for now are the seafood buffets in Myrtle Beach with lobster tails and crab legs. Those are worth it due to the recent rise in seafood prices.

I mean I'll pop in like once a year to a buffet. Last time i went to golden corral there was some vomit in the parking spot, guess someone had to make the royal flush. Got in there and the head chef looked like he works at Magic Mountain on the weekends and shyt. It is what it is. The unlimited steak dinner is legit sometimes, they always have a breh on the grill that don't take no shyt. At the end of the day its one of those things that used to be tradition and you outgrow it but may revisit for nostalgia purposes.

Yea the breakfast stuff is edible, my kids used to always have us stop there when we went to Florida but we ain’t been at all since Covid. It’s really only a good deal if u trying to feed a bunch of people quick who don’t care about taste or cleanliness
