So I was up LATE last night just to get up early got there around opening and it was packed... I seen alot of crazy artwork... I even talked to the head writer of black Kwanza Osajfeyo...
We talked about the comic and chopped up some game I gave him flyers for Aetheon and K'nuba and some business cards I also talked to Roye Okupe about his books too... I also sat in a seminar on black women in afropunk and futuristic black characters in film & media. The chick who drew the tomb raider comic Ashley Woods, was there she was a big video game nerd which was surprising talking about she loved metal gear series and Final Fantasy I was like... 
There was also the chick who designed a VR interface program out of her own pocket with characters... Also met the owners of WestVillage comics which was a black guy... Chopped up game with him...
All in all I had a great time but the BAM is so small & it was so crowded it was too hard to move around and I missed out on the cosplay section it was getting late and I went home.... I was disappointed I didn't meet Lesean Mccoy tho...
