so you're saying ... Kanye Lightmen and Stage production team deserve big bucks ... but what about the actual deliver and performance of the songs breh?
They do deserve a ton of props, but Kanye had crazy energy and really had us feeling the songs. He performed almost the whole Yeezus album, some 808s, a couple C.D. joints, and a couple from Graduation and MBDTF. Plus he ranted about following your dreams and shyt lol. His delivery was on point, and he added small touches that you can only do live.
Kendrick was on stage literally at 7:30 on the dot. I was shocked as a mofo.... I missed a few of his songs waiting on line

And realized that Kanye is probably the only hiphop artist to deserve $100+ for his show. Let's be reality, no one puts on a show like this guy from the lights, pyro, stage design, energy, parade of hits... its ridiculous. I saw Ross on Friday and while it was cool, it was certainly no Yeezy!

Certain people go up with their dj and play beats and vocals and rap over them.
Other like Jay and Kanye spend dollars, which means that we have to spend dollars in order to get a memorable experience.
I really don't respect people who are shytty artists live, Nas gets a pass.

I wouldnt call Nas a shytty performer. Seen him about 4 times, last time was earlier this month at FoxWoods casino in CT. Just him and Green Latern as his DJ. Dude had energy and dug thru the crates... his problem is that he forgets lyrics like u wouldn't believe. I noticed it, but im not sure that other ppl were aware. He had the crowd rocking tho each time i've seen him

Went to the Tampa show last night and op is correct, this was probably the best concert I've ever seen in my life.. Saw Ye before twice back in 04 and 05 and dude has stepped his game up considerably since then, Kendrick had the place rockin too.. Only gripes I had was I felt like Runaway ran on way too long cus dude got mad preachy and shyt and the area where I was sitting at was nothing but cacs (
) but other than that this was definitely one hell of a show, easily worth the 100+ from me
