people always say this but we wore our clothes oversized

the clothes today are made baggy

it's not really the same. like dudes are not walking around with 44 waist pants with ball shorts underneath. they wearing baggy cut clothes not jumping up in sizes.
This is facts. That era was very friendly for us poors who was wearing their big brothers hand me downs.

Now everyone looks like they wearing bedclothes

I’d be shocked by that, H&M has all that euro stuff that’s actually undersized. To go from that to all baggy would be crazy. But I havent been in H&M in about a year

I will say I recently went to Park in DC. Had on a button up and I felt overdressed. Everybody dresses like a D boy now even in an upscale lounge

The types of jeans I can wear has shrunk to fitted black or gray jeans. Can’t do baggy jeans again, cant do denim jeans, can’t really do high top shoes for that matter. Jordan 1’s the only highs I wear

For me at least jeans slowly getting phased out. I’ll rock regular fit olive cargo pants if I’m causal, they match with everything, or go with chinos if it’s a date type vibe

With the chinos you can still be chill with a black or white tee and still give off ‘got money’ vibes. Meanwhile they cost the same as jeans

I had a dilemma with T-shirts last year when I bought a gang of them. Mediums too small and had me walking around like Sgt. Doakes and the larges waaaaay too big for some reason. Now I just buy what I want and take it to the sewing machine. Glad I did because all the polos I bought were never going to fit well off the shelf.
That M/L struggle is real. It depends on the manufacturer and you really don’t know til you buy it

I’m just now realizing the fix is if it’s a M you gotta dry clean it so it dont shrink, and if it’s a large wash it so it will shrink. Otherwise my new shyt is Shein. All their t shirts are $8-12 and quality too. Game changer. I buy a medium so I know it will fit perfectly on day 1 or 2, but it’s cheap enough that if it gets too tight it was only $10 bucks

Also shirts that get so tight I can’t wear by themselves I wear them w/ a jean jacket when it’s that season

They making all the shyt "oversized"

That and vanity sizes are mainly to hide the ballooning obesity epidemic. Its also why modern furniture and cars keep on increasing in size so that peoples sense of scale/perception doesn't allow them to see reality as it stands.

Quite subtle but also quite obvious once you see it.

I always wore loose clothes, graphic and dunks i hate that it’s a trend now. Y’all over exaggerating the baggy part, it’s doesn’t have to be baggy just a lil loose

Skinny trend is now dying. Big brands are moving to baggy style clothings.

Gymbrehs just going to have to work harder and get bigger gains to show off.
