I know Ima get flamed for this but I actually think big Sean had the best project this year so far. It's enjoyable and it doesn't take itself too seriously and it has good variety.

sean's album gave me a cool summertime 90s vibe at times, at he can rap. he's going a little overboard with the new flow, but i guess he figured no one would jack it like last time

Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug were good.

I went with Barter & TPABF. But realistically we need that Future option

I agree with the Future praise, but if I can play that joint on MyMixtapes.com, it ain't going on the poll. :camby: This is AOTY. As in album.

Are people forgetting about Pilot Talk 3?

In the lack of Spitta I'd say Drake/Kendrick depending on mood

Yeah
No I agree with you. Big Sean's project was better than Rocky's and Wale's. And only a step behind Drake's.

Tetsuo and Youth

but TPAB is a close 2nd.

Joey Badass is a close 3rd

I'm a known Future hater but I can't front 56 Nights was a dope listen and had the right mix of ignorant shyt and artistry

Actually 2015 has been one of the best years for hip-hop in a while and theres more on the way.

Hadn't heard it until today...and before today i wasn't a fan at all of dude, thought he was corny....but on initial listen, I like Chance's new shyt Surf better than pretty much any official release i heard so far..the live instrumentation, the sequencing, the guest spots (which i had no idea about, the version i d/l'd didn't have features listed), just made for a dope listen...i can see myself actually riding to this this summer...has some "messege music" or "content :krs:" type tracks that i can listen to without cringing
