Thibs is one of the best in the business there’s no guarantee the grass will be greener.

I want to see another coach construct an offense for this team. Thibs has refused to. If this was like football and we could bring in an OC I’d gladly keep Thibs. Genuinely love and appreciate him for taking us out the dark ages. But it’s been 3 straight series of PAINFUL offense.

Life of a Knicks fan. Either thibs adjust the starting lineup and rotation or this series is over. Cam Payne had one good game and that was game 1 against Detroit. He should be buried on the bench. Start Mitch and let him quarterback the defense. You can’t rely on Towns at the Center to start the game. Hart and McBride should be the first two off the bench and play it from there.

nikkas will say with a straight face thibs aint the problem when we got 5 different combinations of lineups that work but we use the one that hasnt been effective the overwhelming majority of the time
we switching to things we aint do all year too far into the season and surprised the switching defense doesnt work against the pacers cause we have no idea how to communicate after the 3rd rotation.

I have serious concerns long term he’s only getting older and slower.

keep in mind, he snipped off a portion of his meniscus a year ago. That doesn't get better as you get older. HUGE reason why he got traded. TC thought he was one injury away from that contract become Embiid-like.

I said it before the Celtics series (in that series thread), but the Knicks making the ECF would be regarding Thibs for his terrible coaching. It looks like I'm right.

Beating the Celtics only temporarily masked Thibs' ineptitude. However, since the Knicks made the ECF, he's unlikely to be fired, even though he should be.

He should be fired for Game 1 alone. That’s a historic choke job
