If this series goes to seven Thibs should be fired unless they do a minor miracle and beat the Celtics.

:hubie:

We played 5 games and outside of 1 quarter of Payne and Mitch on and off he hasn’t got shyt out of the bench.

McBride might be trade bait too

There is no reason why Wright and Precious are this screwed to the bench. None at all. Except coaching. If he could get 10 points consistently from the bench through series we would be done by now.

I'm just angry at the moment and I'll feel the opposite after getting some sleep but I almost want to lose to just get thibs outta here. It's run its course. You see what a coaching change did for the cavs and can't help but feel envious. Idk what they can do roster wise if giannis asks out but that's gotta hurt even more that we didn't wait another year to unload every asset.
I keep saying this but Mike Malone is out there. He won a chip with Jokic and Murray and Brunson and KAT are a similar duo though Brunson would be the first option.

He doesn’t run a deep roster or rookies so he fits where this team is exactly.

I agree with the below. It’s frustrating to watch.

The problem with this is we had that in Julius and the FO wanted to take the ball out of his hands and put it in Brunson’s. The only person they really want dribbling the ball and looking to iso out of it is Brunson. Maybe a different coach will look at it differently but that is what they wanted.

They actually spoke on this 6 days ago starting at the 29:00 minute mark. Thibs wants KAT to play like Randle even though KAT is not Randle.

I think Thibs kinda blew this down the stretch. When Brunson and Hart went out, he should have put Mitch back in. He went small with Payne and Deuce, and Duren feasted on putbacks and dunks.

Then he tried to save the last time out, but it kept Brunson and Hart from checking back in until there were 27 seconds left, and a 6-point deficit.

Those are unforced errors. Which isn't to mention the ridiculous amount of missed FTs, but Detroit missed a bunch too.

If we lose in 7 to Detroit or get embarrassed by Boston, I want Thibs gone. That unforced error with Brunson and Hart settled it. Thibs deserves his retirement to Front Office exec. The team needs new leadership from the top.

Am i only one that feels like this series shouldn't even be close? I understand if we going down the wire with Boston or the Cavs but it almost feels like we are the underdogs in this series.

We have been down in every game and have had to desperately try to fight back. It's pretty embarraasing

It shouldn't be close. In a lot of ways the Pistons have outplayed the Knicks too. Maybe we need a coaching change and a roster shake up.

I was screaming this last night bro. 5 fouls or not, KAT & Mitch should've been on the floor closing the game out but it all stems back with his obsession with not removing Hart from the starters & it continues to cost us. OG moves back to SF where he's at his best defensively causing terror, & Bridges goes to SG but it keeps teams honest because of the shooting threat

This L was on Thibs & like Melo just said recently which can be applied to the team this game & I have it time stamped lol:

But seriously, Thibs needs to make Detroit adjust to us with Mitch & KAT in the lineup
