What’s the difference between this year and last year in the average fans eyes in yall opinions? We were incredible in last years playoffs but I don’t remember it being like this. I would go to bars and ask them to turn the volume on against the Pacers.

Yeah Saturday was ridiculous. I went to a Spanish sports bar in Queens and white people was in there heavy with Knicks Jersey. I have never seen either white people or Knicks Jersey in that bar ever and I been going there for 5 years.

Went to hit Astoria up…. Packed with Knicks Jerseys.

Man bartenders must have been overworked this weekend and yesterday......

Not sure if Thibs was keeping the combo close to the chest just for this kinda moment, or if Scott Foster's foul calls on Josh Hart made it necessary. But I love to see it.

I think it's a combination of health and consistency. Last season, casuals were curious but put off by the injury plagued roster. They saw the energy, but kept out. This year, the team had more hype going in for optimism and those casuals see a second year in a row where the Knicks have a real shot at the ECF. But that's just a theory.

The foul-baiting narrative is taking a hit.

Derrick White is an excellent defender, but Brunson had him (and Jrue) going crazy last night to the point where White just smirked it off.

Brunson does that to opponents in any and every series. We've seen it multiple times now. You can have solid defenders and it could throw him off at first, but he will figure out tendencies and get his by the middle of the series.

I really think that's an very underrated part of his game. I remember earlier in the season where one game Dyson Daniels had him jail, next meeting, he torched breh.
