I had a genesis first... Once mk2 came out, it was pretty clear what the best system was. Mk2 on the genesis was complete trash while the snes was a nearly arcade perfect port.

plus, SNES had street fighter 2, final fight, super Mario world, Zelda, castlevania, mega man x...I tried to be hardcore Sega, but I threw in the towel in the end... Moed a bunch of lawns and bought a SNES.




Sega had the better controller though. Especially the six-button controller.

Then Sega went ahead and shat itself right near the end with those useless ass peripherals. No one asked for a 32X or a Sega CD just to play a grand total of 2 good games.

Then night stalker (or something similar to that name...I can't remember exactly) fukked up gaming for a while. Joseph Lieberman was so anti video games when that came out. It caused a humongous uproar. Video games cause people to go mad, blah, blah, blah. The gov tried to censor shyt then. It was terrible. Glad they finally came to their senses and just made a rating system.
