Maybe I have a rosy vision of the past but it seemed like Blacks, Asians and Latinos got along a lot better back then. It seems like a lot of people were on some revolutionary shyt and recognized the main enemy to be white supremacy. Perhaps I'm wrong.
Were the relations between non-White people (or "People of Color") a lot better in the 60s/70s compared to now?

You do have a rosy vision of the past, all this anti black hatred didn't just spring up in the last couple of years. Every non black ethnic group fought for the label of "model minority". The revolutionary acts were always carried out by black groups, and the non black groups were just used to break up those movements.

It was FAR more segregated back then and people stuck to their own. 'Bussing' changed that for us 70's babies. We got to actually deal with other ethnicities on a daily basis as children and found out how they REALLY viewed us.

It's an interesting hypothesis but I suspect any alliance other minorities had with black people then was a tentative one born from circumstances and dissolved the moment non-black minorities got a seat at the table.
