Instead of trading Bird and Severino for a rental in CPP (Cancer Patient Price), they got 2 young up and comers who have already made a ton of noise (hard luck losses for Severino but he's looked better in each successive start) due to injuries to Pineda and Tex and are primed to do big things in October. Severino a deep sleeper pick for this postseason's Wachaveli:jbhmm:


Meanwhile, everyone knows Price is a perennial playoff choke artist, his last playoff start with Detroit was the first time he ever had a sub 1.20 WHIP. When he walks from Toronto in the aftermath, this will go down as one of the most costly and least rewarding rentals in the history of baseball.:mjlol:
