(I'm just going to keep posting with ideas as they come. So, sorry in advance for all of these posts)

-Have some coli rappers make a quick little intro song

-discuss the latest technology trends (headphones, downloading sites, mp3 programs, etc.)

-I think somebody mentioned this before, but an old-head vs. new school poster segment (they could argue back and forth about some new song or trend). I think this could be hilarious

-If it gets big, get some advertisers/sponsors.

-Some quick little youtube videos with the highlights from the previous week (kinda like hot 97 and power 105 do). It'll be like an advertisement to get people to listen.

-post an ad on a music jobs site for a comedian and a dj

if we just have segments in general that would make it easier to follow and keep it running smoother

technology, album/mixtape reviews, upcoming albums/mixtapes, old heads vs young guns, artist spotlight (maybe even an interview), hip hop headlines, discussion of the best booth threads, this week/day/month in hip hop history, fashion/sneakers, etc

theres so much to talk about. a problem could be going off on tangents and end up spending 30 mins talking about nas vs jay-z someone has to be the "moderator" and control the discussion. thats what should be interviewed for. pretty much anyone should be able to talk, but there has to be someone with an agenda in mind of whats gonna be covered, how much time is alotted for each segment, is knowledgeable, can interject and control the discussion and has a good voice.

I like those ideas, and the one you had about auditions to. If you guys are trying to get comedians and djs though that's cool I was thinking more of just a raw poster podcast. Kind of like the one in Higher Learning. Either way I'd still listen cause it'd probably be real good.

Have people on the podcast go to concerts in their area and talk about the experience. Or just concert talk, what tours are coming up who to check out.

Some Hip-Hop book discussion, autobiographies that kinda stuff.

Discuss magazine articles.

Rappers always have different kinds of products coming out we could discuss those. Clown a clothing line, recommend one of their liqours, shyt like that.

If we could squeeze a tiny little 5 min segment on bud towards the end.

Having a moderator and drug/alcohol talk are good ideas to me. A moderator is definitely, definitely needed, and the drug/alcohol talk could lead to some good discussion about going to the club, which could lead to some discussion about the music that is being played there or in your region, etc. (and plus, everybody likes getting fukked up, right?)
