cnt even afford a psplus subscription
Vicariously nikka.Exactlyfukking stupid thread.

Y'all used to steal the demo discs out the magazines at the super market?
I put in hours on some demo discs like they were full games
Sure did.

I was as a kid when my big bro brought home maad bootlegged dreamcast games from dem Chinese boys

Them game informer demos with like 5 demos in one disc nd shtMeech brought it back with that.
I remember being so excited when we would order pizza cuz I new they came with demo disks
considering I only got games twice a year unless I saved up, them demo disks held me over
I played that damn bloody roar demo like it was the full game. Same with MGS1.

Man it's crazy how nowadays I can buy the games I want but can't really play em all yet when I was younger it was hard to cop a $60+ game. My parents didn't get what games were so they thought once they bought a gaming console that was it.
They didn't know there were several different games. Before I had my first job I had to scrounge up money from saving up a few dollars here and there from allowance. Sometimes my brother would cop games that I wanted if he was interested.
I remember this nikka copping a Gamecube with Batman Vengeance instead of fukking Smash BrosI enjoyed that title nonetheless but I was seriously wondering if my bro was
me that day.
I wanted Viewtiful Joe for GC once and skipped a professional haircut to save $10 and instead got my hair cut by my brother in the crib. Had a nikka looking funny in the light with uneven hair length and a unclear hairline for a week. Wasn't nothing worse than coppin a game and that shyt was ass. A breh was getting got back then at Gamestop because I'd rely on trade in credits to get new games.
Emulators and burned games held a young breh down back then![]()

and probably would have got like a 2/10 from ign today but you still played the fukk out of it cuz you were too broke not to. I got 1 maybe 2 new games a year usually something I knew would be quality like mario or zelda. I think I had 30,000 career points in Live 95 alone just cuz it was the only game I got that year. Still all good memories
At none of the playstation magazines having a demo left after the first couple days on the shelf

then you got home and played them
