The experience is overrated.

Snow is only fun for a week at the most. After that, you have to still travel places in it, roads ain't always plowed, people driving stupid.
Having to bundle up just to go outside. All that cold weather is depressing as fukk.

True. I've spent 5 years of my life outside of So Cal weather. Experienced all four seasons and I have no appreciation for winter weather at all. It just restricts what you can do and makes it more difficult to get around. I like the options in warmer climates.
And a 70+ degree Thanksgiving and Christmas is like
