You've obviously never been to Oakland..ya we got hoods, but we also have 1000s of houses that are worth millions of dollars overlooking the bay..such a great view..

ive never been to Oakland but im coming to San Francisco this summer. i saw on google street view some nice areas of Oakland but its reputation speaks for itself and besides i doubt most mexicans will be fighting for those million dollar mansions

It's really unfortunate something like this happened. But people got to realize Northern California and so Cal are completely different. I have a hard time imaging something like this happening in nor Cal because black and Latino people are a little more friendly with each other up here. And like someone mentioned its about strength in numbers type of thing places like Oakland, vallejo and sacramento have high black populations so an incident like this wouldn't happen imo
