My experience was pretty different growing up as a haitian (Though I was born in America so I identify more as an AA).
1. Pretty much my whole family despite being immigrants are woke as fukk and never had a bad thing to say about AA's whatsoever.
2. No black person has ever teased me or made me feel different for being Haitian, everyone was just black didn't matter were you came from.
3. Cacs never gave a damn about my heritage or treated me any different from any other AA. To them I was just black so I still wasn't shyt to them, don't matter where I came from. Never got any "bonus" points for being west Indian.

Because you're going to struggle to find a culture, political, and or social correlation between those two groups of people; so to say there're similar correlations doesn't make sense.

Scratch that that was a rhetorical question I know what you mean, you mean that you're the good type of black people right? The ones who behave right? The ones who work harder right? So you see those as societal validation from white people?
