The truth is that black people that come to this country are in fact better than AA....

If that was the case then why are you in America? We could just go back to our islands and build from there. Haitians were slaves, Jamaicans were slaved..all black people in the new world are descendants. Africans were colonized and were treated brutally.

Many elitist Black Americans don't care for other black Americans (common folk). The kids who attended Jack and Jill's parents don't want to live, work, and play next to Ray Ray and them. (before they started letting children of divorcees in). And of course West Indians will look down on people when they are thrown into places like the South Bronx and East Baltimore, and their kids are typically different and behaved until they get around the bad element. I am a 5 generation black American from a nuclear home and I often find myself having to shake my programming. nikkas be full of shyt most of the time. Americans very are ignorant of EVERYTHING not American, and foreigners only know what the film industry distributes.

I remember mentioning Black American culture to a Abesha friend in the Afro/Caribbean club in college. He scoffed " What culture? A pack of Kools and stretch marks, maybe." My a$$hole instinct was to crack Starvin' Marvin joke but politely showed him a different aspect black American then what he knew. And I learned how to make Tella and had the best injera, like an African exchange. And I get that "but really, WHERE are you parents from" when I tell them I am classified and identify as AfrAm. I am not friends with too many AfrAms unless they are buppies. I don't fukk with part of my family because they tend to be the hood boogers or always needing favors, money, babysitters always i can seem to never get ahead yet they waste their time on bullshyt...lets act like nikkas don't exist and these stereotypes fall out of thin air.

In all honesty after ive teavelled the word (ive been to every continent except for one)

But i think immigrants love coming to America because America is the stupidest country on this planet... and people who come from other countries where the way of life is so.much harder and where REAL ghettos and poverty exists come here realizing its a piece of cake living here because every is so.ignorant as to how bad things can REALLY BE.. ive never seen so.many people who use AC when its not even that hot... or who eat at McDonald's and dont know what fresh food is... or who drive in these big SUVs by themselves...(the lost goes on.and on but they are very ignorant here)

Im so mad you wrote this statement because it sadly is so true. This thread has become West Indians vs African Americans, but us African Americans are guilty of this. The perfect example is my mom and dad. I couldn't hang with de Ray, or the "non educated" as my mom says. Us African Americans have to work on this as well. Good point.
