Nah I simply highlighted the defensive side of the ball - obviously Harden would have more impact. But it's not just as simple as just Waiters; it's Adams, Kanter and most probably Roberson too. It's pointless going over this now anyway because there's a good chance they wouldn't have made it out of the Spurs series with how their bigs were one of their main advantages. It's in the past and too many things have happened since then to actually rule on what would've happened.

Waiters defensive rating on the series was 114 was going into tonight, by far the worst among any of the rotation guys. Harden actually played d, in OKC he was def more of a two way player than Roberson or Kanter who both can kill you on one side of the ball.


I agree its closer when you talk Adams vs. Harden, not sure why Donovan had him glued to the bench in the 4th.
