No doubt. Which is why you can't use the hero ball excuse for OKC losing - Warriors won with that shyt. It's just Curry made his shots and KD and Westbrook didn't. :manny:
This narrative that Westbrook and Durant should have passed to their amazing role players :mjlol:

Down the stretch you put the ball in your best players hands. OKC fans should live with a contested KD jumper over a Roberson three every day of the week

They moved the ball all game. Their role players just couldn't hit their good looks.

Adams 4-11
Roberson 2-11
Ibaka 5-11
Waiters 2-9
Right. Not sure what breh is talking about. The ball movement was, for the most part, similar to that of the blowout games. That's the problem you have highlighted there: players who were hitting shots, like Roberson, suddenly weren't such is the game of basketball.:manny: When they aren't hitting shots, it turns into the KD and Westbrook show and it should be apparent by now that they can't win anything playing hero ball.

Everywhere...You never there.
actually, they overachieved. warriors were 73-9, spurs were 67-15. they beat spurs, and almost took down the greatest team in the history of the league.

just need an upgrade over roberson, and bring roberson off the bench. Waiters not enough. Billy D is a great coach. He got the max out his team, but OKC will be ok.

I'd give em another year. I was gonna say two, but... one is sufficient. Work on a system in the offseason. Get a variety of offensive sets on deck that maximize KD's skills, see what happens. Billy D. is an excellent coach. If it doesn't work next season, blow it up.

Westbrook and Durant played above and beyond what they should have done . In the end only having 6 rotational players having to play 45+ minutes with no rest is what killed us. Need to trade Kanter asap for a backup pg and wing depth. I love where we are at but Goldenstate being able to play their starters 38-40 mpg while ours had to fight through damn near 48 is the game.

Trade Kanter for teague or someone. A wing or pg is what we need .

The coli is pretty hyperbolic though so I'm sure taking a 73 win team to 7 with 6 rotational options is a fail

Let's say the those trades happen... how many more seasons you give KD and Russ together if they can't win it all? Or how many more seasons should they stay together?

Forever they aren't the problem depth is. You can't expect your stars to play so many minutes without continued rest. Warriors were able to rest step the and klay for long periods of time together . If we sit Russ and kd it's a wrap. With Roberson and Adams improving you make marginal improvements with Kanter 17mm should gain you solid above replacement level players

I don't see neither them nor management allowing forever to happen with no ring. they both seem to be the opposite of the "Melo mindset." Uber competitors who want a ring soon.
