I'm just being real he plays for triple doubles every single night whether he gets em is not because he played great the other team either gave him an opportunity for more free bounds and or his teammates made enough tough bad shots off Westbrook assist hunting no flow passes.

I loved what Bill Simmons said about Westbrook. In that people focus so much on his flaws that they ignore the amazing things he does. His decision making is horrible and he lets the defense off the hook too often with his jump shot but his energy and attacking mentality does a lot for his team. I really don't see Russ chasing triple doubles nearly as bad this year.I thought the coli likes players being "alpha" and taking the last shot regardless of anything
Westbrook is great player until the last 2 minutes of a close game. Sometimes it works out for him, most of the time it doesn't, but with his unbelievable talent and freakish abilities, I'd still take him on my team.
I always wondered what would Westbrook be like if he became a full-time off guard next to a pure point guard running the team, sorta like AI used to play. AI had Larry Brown to transform his game though. Westbrook on the other hand never had a strong head coach.
