Oladipo said in an interview that everything we're seeing this year was from his preparation to play with Russ this season. He got better conditioned and literally started training when their season ended. Russ is who motivated him to elevate his game. Please tell me any former or current teammate who has ever said anything negative about Russ? I always ask that question and no one ever has an answer. He's a high motor and he's always gonna be that. He plays faster than the game allows, which is why you see the lapse in judgement, particular when he gets caught. But saying he's a stat padder - c'mon, most of the league are stat padders (Lebron, CP3, Harden, Steph, Draymon). He needs to develop a stop-n-pop game in order to truly have success. Or he could play more off the ball, not as a shooter but as a cutter below the 3 point line.

Westbrook is great player until the last 2 minutes of a close game. Sometimes it works out for him, most of the time it doesn't, but with his unbelievable talent and freakish abilities, I'd still take him on my team.
I always wondered what would Westbrook be like if he became a full-time off guard next to a pure point guard running the team, sorta like AI used to play. AI had Larry Brown to transform his game though. Westbrook on the other hand never had a strong head coach.
Didn't they have him at the 2 when he was at ucla?
The dumb shyt he does gets magnified, rightfully so, in crunch time. He's been in the league way too long for that dumb shyt at the end of games.

Last year was the same, O and for the year he’s shooting better than the killlers Lillard and Harden. Take out that horrible December and he would be in the top 5 at his position in shooting which you guys says he suck at.
If you want to critique is game then there’s areas like turnovers where he has to improve but you dudes be saying he sucks at shooting but he’s shooting a good 45% from the field. Or he doesn’t pass the ball but instead he leads the league in assist.
