I don't give a fukk what anybody says, when it comes to PLAYOFF BASKETBALL, Iguadala is the best defensive player in the league.

He had Bron looking paralyzed whenever he was guarding him in the Finals last year
Yeah Iguodala locked Bron up he avged only 35.8 ppg and 14 rebs and 9 assts in that whole series...

That nikka Lebron is wack..

Its like most of you nikkas in here are autistic :what:

There you go with that surface shyt.

Bron took like 35 shots a game and shot 39% from the field...31% from 3pt range. His scoring numbers were hot air.I was more impressed with his reb & asst numbers. It's a miracle that he was able to average 9 asst with the squad Cleveland put out there.

But as far as scoring, his numbers are overrated in that regard

Anybody who watched the Finals saw how Bron looked when Iguadala guarded him.Had a whole lot to do with Iguadala winning Finals MVP.

Fukk a stat sheet.Numbers don't lie, but they don't tell the whole story, neither

Nah, you dudes just don't realize how great this Warriors team is. The defense they played down the stretch was on some GOAT shyt.
Let's not carried away now. They played great defense, but it's proven time and time again that this Thunder team plays like mental midgets at the end of games. They need a veteran who can help close things out at the end badly. Someone like an Aaron Brooks who isn't going to mentally collapse.

The Thunder are a stacked team top to bottom and should no doubt have won game 6, they just don't have "it". In this case I believe it is the maturity at the end of games. Being the armchair coach that I am, I would strongly consider signing a veteran point guard who doesn't mind a reduced rule because they have Westbrook. Until that is in the last 5 minutes of the game, then put the veteran PG in and move Westbrook to the 2. The veteran PG should be able to get into the head of Westbrook and Durant so they can calm the fukk down.

That turnover right after the rebound was straight :snoop: status. If he would have just calmed down for an extra second or two to recover they would have had a better chance.

There's no calming presence on the court in the clutch for OKC... zero control. Like I said in another thread, ideally OKC would shift Russ to the 2 in the clutch and have a vet. PG with a high basketball IQ run shyt like Andre Miller or Derek Fisher (retired, but he comes to mind).
Should have read this before I replied.

I agree 1000%. They need a veteran PG to calm them the fukk down.

It's not getting carried away at all.

In the last five minutes the Thunder had 5 points on 1-5 shooting (their one FG was an offensive rebound putback) and committed six turnovers. All forced by the Warriors defense. You can't get much better than that.
Stop, we have seen the Thunder fall apart time and time again this season. This is not just the Warriors playing great defense.

This is exactly the reason the board likes to go after you...you completely lose your mind and objectivity.

Just the opposite really. I wouldn't expect you to know with all the flip flopping you've done this season. Especially with all those overreactions after G4. :manny:

Yes the Thunder are prone to make mistakes down the stretch and full back into bad habits, however that doesn't take away from the defensive pressure they were put under that forced them into making those mistakes in the first place. It was relentless. Contesting out on the perimeter, help at the rim, stripping on ISOs, limiting second chance opportunities and stopping the fast break. I don't know what your point is in bringing up the fact that the Thunder didn't execute in the clutch as if having success on defense isn't always reliant upon the offense making mistakes - either directly or indirectly.

@Liquid some nerve you have accusing somebody of losing their mind and ability to be objective with the shyt you pulled last season in the playoffs. :heh:

Defense might of been part of it bu there was sloppy ass play by KD and Westbrook. Running past your dribble in the 4th quarter drivign to the hole? :mindblown:

The fact that you continue to hold on to last season just shows how credible the arguments everyone had were. I am willing to admit that the Warriors will be an all-time great team if they win the championship this season.

You on the other hand are completely missing the point. Nobody is saying the Warriors did not play great defense, but it further highlights the flaws this Thunder team has at the end of games. If they didn't have this history behind them I would see your point, but at best I will give the Warriors 50% of the credit last night for the collapse.

Refs kept those chumps in the game period leading to the self destruct, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves

Disgusting.

And this is just 1 of many atrocious calls by the refs all series for okc

Livingston is behind Russ, Russ elbows Livingston in the face; they call Livingston for the foul.

But guess what GS won

:blessed:
