IMO
i'll take kawhi griffen & jordan
-iggy ( i like him... but i already know what he can & cant do -he has limitation jn his game

-lee ( seen him as play every game in nyc when i was a knick stan... met him twice real good dude... but he more of a compiler he get his #s but dosnt have much impact on a game
and his DEF is bad

-bogut ( we not talking bout the andrew from his 1st few season .... im talking bout his last 3 years -he can barely stay healthy & he too slow / lack athleticism to defend

:manny: to each iz own :manny:

DeAndre Jordan trash. if The Clippers had Bogut instead of DJ then they would have made it out of the first round last year.

2nd that that nobody is saying Iggy, Lee, Klay, Barnes, and Bogut are superstar but having all of them in 1 team around a superstar PG in Curry is just insane

In the 2 short years he's been in the league, he is already better than Iggy on the defensive end. He has a better mid-range game. He is a better rebounder. He will end up being a better spot up shooter. Not to mention that Kawhi with his arm span bothers many shot's, something that's very important that does not end up on the stat sheet. He's younger. That makes him better in my opinion. My 2 cents...
Iggy is a much better defender than Kawhi. Are you trippin. Iggy is the best perimeter defender in the league there are tons of stats that prove it and he is widely regarded as such...

Like I said, my 2 cents. I have the league pass just for the sole purpose of watching the Nuggets. Wifey from Denver. I've watched both the Nuggets and the Spurs damn near every game last season. I think Kawhi beats him hands down. You can count on atleast 2-3 steals from the guy every night. And as far as stats go, I'm not big on them. Statistics showed the Spurs should have won the Finals being that they won the last 4 they participated in. So I do look at stats, but don't put much stock in them. I would take Kawhi any day over Iggy. Don't take it as if I'm saying Iggy is a bum, cause he's not. Just my opinion. I guess I should have started my OP with IMO

ask your boy Steph Curry who defended him better in the playoffs. :lupe:

I'll take Kawhi over Iggy for the simple fact he doesn't have a worse FT% than Javale McGee. :scusthov:

Danny Green defended Curry. Kawhi was on Klay....And Iggy didnt even guard Steph most of the time in the Denver series...It was Lawson/Miller.

Iggy's scoring #s and FTs went down because over the course of his career he has focused more on passing and defense, especially. And his ball handling is:whew:

Btw Iggy 72%FT in 2013 playoffs.:youngsabo:

6 game sample. :beli:

what does passing and playing D have to do with FT%? :wtf:

both Iggy and Kawhi saw significant time on Curry breh, particularly down the stretch. if Ty and Andre fukking Miller were his primary defenders, it would have been a 4 game sweep. :dead:

Whatchu talkin about? Curry put up 24/9 in the Denver series....He torched Miller and Ty.

Iggy sometimes switched on Curry in crucial situations or helped on a double but he was most definitely not on him for a "significant" amount of time.

Kawhi even guarded him less...Are you sure you watched the series? Parker was on him most of game 1 then at the end Kawhi switched on him late in regulation(Curry still scored on him). But then from game 2 on Danny Green stuck to Steph like glue.

Never said FT% has anything to do with D. But Iggys FT% is negligible due to his overall impact.

How many times in this video do you see Iggy on Curry. Big fat zero. Aint even near him and Steph is goin on a tear. Probably one of the reasons Karl got fired...

that's how the entire series would've looked like if Andre Miller was his primary defender. :heh:

even if I concede that Iggy didn't see significant time on Curry, he allowed his primary assignment (Klay) to put on a shooting gallery in the first two games (including 5-6 from 3 in game 2) that set the tone for the series and took HCA away from the Nuggets.

Klay posted solid #s in those game but its not like he went off or anything. When Klay is hot hes one of the best shooters in the game no doubt cant expect Iggy to go god defense mode every possession.

Hard to defend any player that comes off screens and shoots quick.

Also just in Mo Williams to the Blazers I seem them having a very realistic chance of the 8th seed now. Maybe even as high as 7.
