Damn, man, taking the hostility a bit far.
No, Chris Paul actually
averages over 50% on twos for his career. He's at 52% since he joined the Clippers. Horrible attempt at an example.
I already told you which players average below 44% on twos. It wasn't a pretty list. 44% on twos is not "great", especially not against a poor defense like the Suns.
Career, Westbrook is a 39% shooter from midrange. He's improved somewhat as his career has progressed - last year he was 43% from 10-15 and 39% from 16-23. I believe that is indeed a bit above average, although that only emphases what a crap shot the midrange jumper is.
For comparison, Lebron is a career 38% from midrange. Westbrook and Lebron are the same from 16-23 (and Lebron takes a lot more of those), but Westbrook is better from 10-15 (and Westbrook takes more of those). But Lebron kills Westbrook on threes (34% to 30%), on short twos (43% to 33%), and at the rim (73% to 58%). And that's where 80% of the points are.
Actual guys who are good from midrange: Durant, Irving, Curry, Lillard, Bosh, Ibaka, CP3, Pau Gasol, Carmelo and Klay. They're in the mid-40s or higher.
Durant and Ibaka were actually insane from midrange last year - Durant was shooting 50% and Ibaka was over 46% - while Westbrook was still down near 41%.
And that's Westbrook's "good" distance.
